Position: Full-Time/Part-Time (Day and Night Shifts Available)
Reports To: Facilities Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Day/Night Porter to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our office and warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cleaning of office spaces, including dusting, mopping, and maintaining work areas
- Collect and dispose of trash from office, warehouse, and exterior parking lot areas
- Clean and maintain warehouse facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Freshen and maintain restroom facilities, including restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain a spotless environment
- Maintain exterior parking lot cleanliness by picking up trash and debris
- Use Jani-Core or similar cleaning products and equipment effectively and safely
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures, including Jani-Core products
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts as needed
