About the Role:
JANI-CORE LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Working Lead to join our team in Port Arthur, TX! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside your crew while keeping facilities clean, safe, and running smoothly. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise janitorial staff during daily cleaning operations
  • Perform hands-on cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing
  • Ensure all assigned areas meet quality and cleanliness standards
  • Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
  • Communicate with management regarding staffing, scheduling, and facility concerns
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations on the job site
Requirements:
  • Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Must be available for flexible scheduling including evenings or weekends if needed
