About the Role:
JANI-CORE LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Working Lead to join our team in Beaumont, TX! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll keep facilities clean and running smoothly while guiding a team of cleaning professionals. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise janitorial staff during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
  • Perform hands-on cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
  • Inspect work areas to ensure quality control and compliance with cleaning protocols
  • Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
  • Communicate with management regarding staffing, supply needs, and facility issues
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
  • Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience required
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on site assignments
