About the Role:
JANI-CORE LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Working Lead to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll keep facilities spotless while guiding a team of cleaning professionals. If you take pride in a job well done and love leading by example, we want to hear from you — earning between $14–$17 per hour!


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise janitorial staff during cleaning shifts at assigned facilities
  • Perform hands-on cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks meet quality standards and client expectations
  • Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Manage and restock cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding staffing issues, supply needs, or client concerns
  • Perform floor care duties including buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required
  • Previous lead, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation standards, and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to job sites in Houston, TX
